Class of 2026 accepted to prestigious colleges and universities
May 18, 2026
Valley Forge Military College (VFMC) proudly graduated 41 cadets from the Class of 2026, a group that shined in a multitude of avenues during its two years at The Forge.
“Cadets have to balance their time completing academic courses, ROTC training and labs, and fulfilling the duties of the corps of cadets,” said Dr. Robert Smith, Provost of Valley Forge Military College. “They’ve made a commitment to hone their leadership skills, their self-discipline and the very nature of their character. Remaining successful academically means a cadet has had to balance several responsibilities both in and out of the classroom. For this particular class, that’s an understatement. This class, these cadets are overachievers.”
The Class of 2026 finished with a cumulative GPA of 3.66 during its four semesters at Valley Forge Military College. Nine cadets earned at least 80 credits to confer dual associate’s degrees. Twelve cadets supplemented their degrees with certificates, including four who earned multiple certificates.
All 41 cadets will be continuing their education, including 36 who commissioned as second lieutenants in the U.S. Army through VFMC’s ROTC Early Commissioning Program.
Their list of accepted follow-on schools includes prestigious institutions like Cornell University, Georgetown University, Carnegie Mellon University, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, New York University, the University of Maryland, the University of Georgia, Virginia Tech, Villanova University and more.
