Cross Country: Freshman Witkamp leads VFMC at PSU-Abington Invite

HUNTINGTON VALLEY, Pa. — Valley Forge Military College’s men’s cross country team traveled to Lorimer Park on Saturday as the Trojans continued their season at the Penn State Abington Invitational.
Runners from 11 different schools were in the 76-runner field. Freshman Felix Witkamp paced VFMC for the second straight race, finishing 32nd with a time of 32:17.1.
Sophomore Travis Lutz finished 42nd (43:02.9), sophomore Robert Hoopes finished 49th (35:23.5), and freshman Steven Marsh finished 60th (38:11.3) to wrap up the Trojans’ finishers on the eight-kilometer course.
