VFMAC holds plaque dedication ceremony at US Army Museum

Oct 01, 2024

VFMAC held a dedication ceremony Tuesday in Ft. Belvoir, Va. for the VFMAC Plaque at the National Museum of the United States Army. The plaque, which is dedicated to those who gave their lives in service of our country, was raised earlier this year with help from the N.E. Ohio, Washington, and Western Pennsylvania alumni regiments, led by Hugh Roberts ’56, Allen D. Fritz ’90C, William Ridley ’64 and Arthur R. Lambert ’60.

Thank you to Hugh Roberts ’56, Art Lambert ’60, Paul Galanti ’57, Bill Ridley ’64, Gerry Maynard ’68, ’70C and Col. JC Lintzenich ’92 for attending Tuesday’s ceremony along with President Helgeson, Provost Smith, Chaplain Floyd White, Chairman of the Board John English ’91 and Board Member Dr. Christine Royce. They were joined by cadets from the College and Academy bugler Justin Soto.

We would also like to recognize the late Tom Goldblum ’69, ’71C, who played an instrumental role in making this special day possible.
