Staff and Cadets take part in Path Forward Celebration

Apr 24, 2026

Valley Forge Military College recently held its Path Forward Celebration.

The annual event honors the dedication, growth, and success of our sophomore students as they prepare to continue their academic journeys. Whether transferring to a four-year institution, enrolling in a specialized program, or continuing military education, VFMC celebrates their vision, discipline, and commitment to personal excellence!

Sophomore cadets were encouraged to wear gear from colleges and universities they plan to follow on to. Colleges and universities represented included Georgetown University, the University of North Carolina, Villanova University, Syracuse University, Baylor University, Widener University, Florida Institute of Technology, Liberty University, West Virginia University, Slippery Rock University, Messiah College, and more.

Staff and faculty joined in the fun, donning their alma mater on campus. It was a terrific opportunity to highlight the great opportunities our Cadets have awaiting them.

“I’m really excited to use the skills that we’ve learned here,” said sophomore cadet Naomi Lieberman, who will be attending Baylor University. “With the discipline we’ve picked up, with no one else enforcing it and seeing how I can take responsibility for myself as an adult as a newly commissioned officer too to see how the leadership opportunities kind of transfer over to the real world.”
