Renovations complete on May H. Baker Memorial Library exterior

Renovations on the exterior of the May H. Baker Memorial Library were completed recently. Enhancements included replacements/refurbishments of the facade, portico, pillars, and front windows to preserve the historic charm of one of our campus’s timeless buildings.

The restoration of the library was the latest in VFMC’s ongoing campus renovations. The Mellon Hall front steps received major upgrades in July after a tough winter wore them down. Last year, the Mellon Hall roof was replaced.

Some other recent renovations included repainting The Chapel of St. Cornelius the Centurion steeple; upgrades to the chapel ceiling and sound system; and upgrades to Younghusband Hall, which included new paint, new floors, and air conditioning installed as part of the renovation of Younghusband Hall.
