John Lanetti is the Chief Financial Officer for Valley Forge Military Academy & College.  In that role since November 2022, he is responsible for all financial activities related to both VFMA, VFMC and VFMAF, as well as business office functions, institutional development, and Auxiliary Programs, as well as finance and accounting

John comes to The Forge with over thirty years of experience in the accounting and finance profession.  He has spent the last 15 years in the non-profit area as Controller, Finance Director and Chief Financial Officer for healthcare and social services organizations.

John was born and raised in the City of Philadelphia.  He attended Cardinal Dougherty High School, graduating in 1983.  John received his Bachelor’s Degree from Temple University in 1988, majoring in Accounting.  In 2009, he entered into Drexel University’s Executive MBA programs, earning his Master’s Degree.
