Lieutenant Colonel Brandon Drobenak, USA (Ret.) is the Chief of Staff at Valley Forge Military College, beginning in June 2025. Prior to his current role, LTC Drobenak was the Professor of Military Science at Valley Forge Military College.
LTC Drobenak was commissioned from the United States Military Academy at West Point (USMA) in 2005. He holds a B.S. in Engineering Management, an M.S. in Civil Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, and an M.A. in Organizational Psychology from Columbia University.
His previous assignments include Platoon Leader, 82nd Airborne Division, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom; Aide-de-Camp to the Deputy Commanding General, Special Operations Command Europe (SOCEUR), Stuttgart, Germany; Company Commander, 541st Engineer Company (Sapper), 54th Engineer Battalion during Operation Enduring Freedom and Bamberg, Germany; Tactical Officer, USMA, West Point, NY; Interagency Fellow with FEMA Headquarters, Washington, D.C.; Executive Officer, 27th Engineer Battalion, Chief of Operations and Executive Officer, 20th Engineer Brigade, Fort Bragg, NC; Deputy Commander, Philadelphia District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
His awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal with oak leaf cluster, Meritorious Service Medal with three oak leaf clusters, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal with two oak leaf clusters, Combat Action Badge, Ranger, Sapper, Jumpmaster, Pathfinder, German Airborne Wings and the Bronze and Steel Orders of the de Fleury Medal.
