Valley Forge Military College offers a flexible, fully online academic experience for adult learners who are active-duty service members, veterans, or professionals seeking career advancement. The following expectations are designed to help students succeed in our online learning environment.
Student Commitment

Engagement: Actively participate in discussions, assignments, and online activities each week.

Time Management: Expect to spend 10–12 hours per week per course. Plan accordingly.

Communication: Regularly check your email and announcements. Reach out to instructors when you need help or clarification.

Accountability: Meet weekly deadlines. Late work may impact your grade unless prior arrangements are made.
Technology Requirements

Reliable internet connection

Access to a desktop or laptop computer (not just a phone/tablet)

Updated browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari)

Access to Microsoft Office or Google Workspace tools

Familiarity with VFMC’s learning management system, Populi.
Academic Integrity

Asynchronous Format: No set login times – work at your pace, within weekly deadlines

Accelerated Terms: Five 8-week terms per year
