The following page outlines everything you will need for School Year 2026–2027. It specifies required clothing and equipment, provides guidance on optional and prohibited items, and covers marking and security of personal property. Items fall into two categories: Basic Issue Items (provided by VFMC) and Purchased Items (the cadet’s responsibility).
Complete and return your Cadet Sizing & Uniform Information by August 1st.
Returning Cadets
Cadets must bring the previous year’s basic clothing issue items back to school each year. Valley Forge replaces items that are worn out or outgrown. Cadets must replace items lost or made unserviceable through negligence or abuse.
Marking of Personal Items
All articles must be marked with the cadet’s name and personal serial number (provided via email and available on their student account). Use indelible ink, name tags, or stamps.
Prohibited Items
The following are not permitted (this list is not all-inclusive): refrigerators, television sets, large radios, component stereo systems, drum sets, electrical appliances, beepers, pagers, knives, candles, butane or aerosols, squirt guns, toy guns, firearms, air/gas-pressurized weapons, fireworks/pyrotechnics, any tobacco products, Juuls, e-cigarettes, and vaporizers.
Insurance
VFMC does not accept responsibility for the loss, breakage, or theft of personal property brought on campus. We recommend you inventory personal items and contact your insurance carrier about adding a rider to your policy for full coverage.
