Army ROTC
 

Through Valley Forge Military College’s Army ROTC Early Commissioning Program, you will become a second lieutenant at the end of your sophomore year. This is a rare and prestigious opportunity, and Valley Forge Military College is the only college in the northeastern United States that can make it possible for you.

 

Upon graduation, many of our cadets go on to complete their Bachelor’s degree at top tier universities to include: Cornell, Columbia, William and Mary, University of Virginia, Baylor, Syracuse, Villanova, Penn State, Norwich, Ohio State, Pitt, and many others.

 

The Scholarship includes:

  • Two years full tuition

  • Stipend of $420/month, freshman year

  • Stipend of $420/month, sophomore year

  • $1,200/yearbook allowance

 

In addition, Valley Forge Military College will provide a grant to cover Room & Board while attending VFMC. This grant is available through the Ike Skelton Scholarship.

GET FULL TUITION, ROOM & BOARD THROUGH MCAP and VFMC

 
  • VFMC’s National Guard Scholars receive full tuition, and room and board.

  • The National Guard Scholarships Program is exclusive to Valley Forge Military College, the Military College of Pennsylvania™. It is not available at any other college or military college.

  • Those selected for the scholarships become commissioned officers in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard.

  • At graduation, they are fully commissioned Second Lieutenants in the Army National Guard, become active officers in the PA National Guard, and are immediately eligible for additional National Guard benefits.

  • During the two years at VFMC earning their Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degrees, National Guard Scholars engage in accelerated ROTC training.

  • The program enables them to commission a full two years sooner than those in other ROTC programs.

  • At their follow-on schools where National Guard Scholars complete their bachelor’s degree, they receive a full tuition scholarship at any of the schools within the Pennsylvania state college and university system.

  • As a First Lieutenant after completing the bachelor’s degree, the officers serve in the Pennsylvania National Guard’s reserve units and can remain in Pennsylvania to complete their service requirements.

Cornerstone Scholarship – up to $3,500 per semester

Merit Scholarship – up to $5,000 per semester
